Design, Control and Manufacturing of a Fixed Wing VTOL Aerial Vehicle

Aerial vehicles flying with aerodynamic lift are considered in two major categories; fixed wing and rotary wing vehicles which can vertically take off and land (VTOL). This study includes the design, control and manufacturing of a 4-rotary and 3-fixed wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with horizontal flight capability as a fixed-wing aircraft and VTOL capability without needing runway.
Geleneksel Toz Metalürjisi ve Binder Jetting Yöntemiyle Üretilen Numunelerin Mekanik Özelliklerinin Deneysel Olarak Belirlenmesi ve Karşılaştırılması

Bu çalışmada Tek Eksenli Pres ile Binder Jetting yöntemi ile üretilen gözenekli Ti parçaların mikroyapı ve mekanik özellikleri karşılaştırılmakta ve üretim yönteminin mikroyapı ve mekanik özelliklere etkisi incelenmektedir. Bu amaçla her iki yöntemle şekillendirilen saf Ti peletleri atmosfer kontrollü bir fırında sinterlenir. Sinterlenmiş numunelerin mikroyapı ve mekanik özelliklerini incelemek için yoğunluk ve gözeneklilik ölçümleri, optik mikroskop, XRD ve SEM analizleri, mikrosertlik testleri ve sıkıştırma testleri yapılmıştır.
Determination of Optimum Parameters by Investigating the Surface Roughness and Hardness of Inconel 718 Super Alloy After Face Milling

The aim of this study is to determine the optimum processing parameters of a nickel-based superalloy, inconel 718 which is without any heat treatment, at some low cutting speeds. For this purpose, the workpiece samples had been prepared. The samples have 20 mm diameter and 15 mm height. In order to prepare these samples, a 20 mm diameter cylindrical rod inconel 718 had been used. In total, 18 samples had been examined.
Experimental Study on Drying Parameters of Freeze Drying System

In this study, a prototype freeze drying system was designed and control experiments of the system were conducted. Apple slices in 13 different geometry were dried in the prototype dryer. Drying curves of each slice geometry were drawn and top three fastest drying geometries were identified among them. Twenty samples for each three shapes were prepared and drying parameters for each sample were investigated in detail.
