Özet:
This study explores the effect of number of vanes and vane type on the time-averaged l flow fields of a confined counter-rotating radial-radial swirler experimentally in isothermal conditions.Velocity field measurements are conducted at the mid-plane of the swirlers via two-dimensional two-component (2D2C) particle image velocimetry (PIV) technique. Preliminary results reveal presence of a central toroidal recirculation zone (CTRZ) extending interior of the jet. Comparative analysis of the time-averaged flow fields for different swirler configurations are be presented.
